Doris' Diner in Hamburg

Underground, just heated convenient food at high prices, nothing really homemade. Was having breakfast here some time ago. Atmosphere was awful with German pop music and uncomfortable furniture. Service was lousy too. For me not again.

There are probably the best wings in town here. Good selection, great price, we really love being here. The owner is a great host, even if he happens to walk by, he comes out happy, waves and offers a small drink on the house! Hammer!

Small restaurant with very nice owners and good food. Here you can get a whole menu for little money. Definitely worth a visit.

You really feel as if you have been conjured up into another world when you enter the restaurant, furnished like typical American diners from the films. Of course, food is also classically American and delicious! Whether breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a milk shake in between, the visit will be worthwhile.

The food is ok. However, communication with the service staff is a bit difficult. If it wasn't so close to where I live, would prefer another diner.

I was looking forward to it and the website is also very appealing. As an American, I had certain expectations that were not met. The staff was very friendly and quick, but the staff did not convey an American feeling. The food came very quickly, but was served tasteless and carelessly. In this case the price / performance ratio is absolutely not right here. Unfortunately, very disappointing, not to be recommended!

Very attentive and courteous staff. Food and drinks are very tasty and the price-performance ratio is more than fair. Depending on the effort, small special requests are fulfilled. After several visits I have not yet been disappointed.

I was there today with my friends and at the beginning the condition was still friendly, but when we were still sitting and talking he kept coming by (over 12 times) and that caused such an unpleasant, gratuitous stress and our empty glasses he also has Not taken along the whole time, although he clearly saw that they were empty. Food was really just okay, I found burgers heartless and seemed really heartless to me. Meat looked cheap and vegetables, ketchup was just smacked up ready. Twister fries tasted okay though. Well there are better restaurants

Very cool shop and the fajita was delicious too. We were also very sympathetic to the staff. It is definitely worth visiting the shop.

So the US style restaurant fits very well. The menu is coordinated and very authentic. Were very peaceful. Price performance fits very well. I would also have liked to have paid 2 3 euros more for a little more on the plate but it is a matter of taste. I can recommend the restaurant. There is also a possibility to sit outside. The taste was okay. Burger patties are not freshly homemade but still fit

Horrible service

This is an american style diner with cheap foods in the university neighbourhood. The diner theme is done well and it's a nice place to visit. The menu has some of the typical diner foods that you would expect to find in an American diner, burgers and such. The food is okay quality, nothing special mostly but not bad either. Some of the flavours been germanised quite expectedly, e.g. mexican dishes don't have that much spice at all. Given that the prices are really cheap it is definitely worth the visit though.

An authentic and well decorated diner in the US style. Nice service, great authentic menu. The food is very good quality, price performance fits perfectly, the drinks are reasonable. Only negative point why it is not enough for 5 stars, the sanitary facilities should be renovated, toilet man can hardly move, seat ring broken ... that does not fit the rest of the impression

Very nice diner. Not too expensive. It wasn't very busy, so service was incredibly fast. Staff was friendly. The curly fries were amazing and crunchy. The cheese burger tasted amazing as well. Chicken stripes were very good as well. Drinks were served in big glasses and weren't expensive.

Food was delicious and was brought to the table very quickly. The ladies toilet was clean, but would have to be renovated.

We normally don’t eat American food when we travel to try to get a more authentic experience this place was great. We had delicious omelettes and the service was very friendly.

Good food and drinks, friendly service, good location. Not sure why it is not full always. I tried the wings and ribs... man! Winged i was :) french toast looked and tasted like in America. Will surely try lots more. I mean they have breakfast menu throughout the day, what more could i ask for? Most definitely worth a try.

Come here if you... want to eat TASTY food! The menu is huge, so there is a wide range of dishes you can get here. I went for a wrap and it was perfect! Prices are also pretty good. The atmosphere of the restaurant tries to imitate the aesthetics of an american restaurant. The man who served us was extremely nice too. Only thing where I see a flaw is the desserts. Personally I did not like that much the options available, although it may be different for you! I would fully recommend it!

The atmosphere is great, even if rather little seats are available. The food was delicious and the service very friendly. We will definitely come more often.

Don't really like it , the food looks like Frozen stuff you get from supermarket.

I think the pancakes are kind of expensive, but I liked them anyway. Great table service!
